The dSM23CBIO is one of our NEMA 23 size Triple-Stack closed-loop stepper motors options from the dSM23XBIO series that features a 24V sourcing output for driving resistive or inductive loads and two isolated inputs with the capability of sinking or sourcing operations and the additional feature of a brake additament to ensure the actuators stay in place when power goes off, which have been customized and calibrated to work with our dPOS technology and dMotion software. The dSMXXXX series offer a low cost and high precision option, as a result of the multi-turn absolute magnetic encoder attachment with a 32-bit position counter capability, with a 14-bits for single turn resolution and a 18-bits revolution counter; allowing the user to quickly implement our technology with their own actuators and thus to their automation processes. The dSMXXXX series also comes with a battery backup operation to keep the revolution counter active without power, and to allow a fast homing index.
